Relatives pronouns

Hi friends!

Last day,Gema taught us the relative pronouns. We use them to add a relative clause to a sentence. For example:

-This is my friend. His brother is in Paris.
                       >This is my friend whose brother is in Paris.(Este es mi amigo cuyo hermano está en París)

We have six relative pronouns:Where,Who,Whose,Which,When and That.

Here,we are going to put six examples:

         >Where: -He was in London.I was born.
*He was in London where I was born.
         >Who: -He is the man.He fights with Yeray.
*He is the man who fights with Yeray.
         >Whose -He is the man.His mother is Lola.
*He is the man whose mother is Lola.
         >Which: -The dog is ill.The dog is in the vet.
*The dog which is in the vet is ill.
          >When: -1981 was a year.I was born.
*1981 was the year when I was born.
          >That: -He is the man.He eats with Pepa.
                              * He is the man that eats with Pepa.

Sometimes, the relative pronouns can be omitted if we have a subject in each clause. For example:
           > He is the man.I met yesterday.
*He is the man (who) I met yesterday  |Who can be omitted because of the underlined subject|

Another thing is that we can use THAT instead of using Who or Which, but only in defining relative clauses that we are going to explain the next day.For example:
*He is the man WHO/THAT fights with Yeray.

*The dog WHICH/THAT is in the vet is ill.
